Comprehensive Dental Treatment Plans

Patient smiling in the dental chair, reflecting the success of comprehensive dental treatment plans at our Toronto dental clinic

At View Dental, we believe your first visit lays the foundation for a lasting relationship built on trust, comfort, and clear communication. That’s why we take the time to get to know you, not just your teeth.

During your initial appointment, you’ll receive a comprehensive oral exam (COE), have the opportunity to ask any questions, and get clear, professional guidance to make informed decisions about your dental health. No rush, no pressure, just personalized care tailored to you!

We’re excited to welcome you to the View Dental family!

What Is a Comprehensive Oral Exam (COE)?

If this is your first visit and you’re not visiting us for an emergency or urgent issue, we’ll typically begin with a Comprehensive Oral Exam, or COE, which is an in-depth evaluation that goes far beyond a routine check-up.

This exam includes:

  • A review of your medical and dental history

  • A full-mouth series of x-rays and photographs

  • A detailed assessment of your head, neck, jaw, soft tissues, teeth, and gums

  • Screening for gum disease, decay, and alignment issues

What Happens Next?

Once we’ve gathered and reviewed your records, your dentist will walk you through their findings, all while clearly explaining the current state of your oral health, any concerns, and recommended next steps. Once again, don’t hesitate to ask for clarifications and voice your concerns, if you have any.

You’ll receive a customized treatment plan outlining:

  • Procedures needed to restore or maintain your dental health

  • Timeline of appointments

  • Associated costs and insurance considerations

Our goal is to give you a complete picture of your oral health, so you feel confident and informed moving forward.
